Airborne Training

In July of 2022, two of our head instructor dogs successfully deployed from a helicopter into the water to conduct a mock rescue with one of the Academies trained first responders, in the manner of the Italian School of Water Rescue dogs, SICS.

Angel and I headed to the US Air Force Academy in Colorado. He was delighted to be available to meet-n-greet the viewers of the IMAX movie, SuperPowerDogs being featured at the planetarium there! We were so excited about this opportunity.

We are enthralled to announce the success of our first annual American Academy of Canine Water Rescue Workshop! During this Labor Day weekend event, we were able to train alongside some new members from all over the nation. A special thank you to our Italian friends from SICS for traveling across the globe to assist us in operating our event. Also thank you to the many volunteers that came out to work towards our goal of eradicating drowning deaths across the domestic United States of America and worldwide. We hope to continue this event in the future, and appreciate any support through donations to be able to operate similar workshops like this. Check out our photo gallery to see more photos from our workshop!

Our next workshop is scheduled for Sept. 5- Sept.7, 2020 with an optional advanced class from 9/8-9/10 during which level one certification will be available for those who pass the exam.

Our organization would like to say thank you to the United Sates Coast Guard for allowing us to tour the U.S Guard Sector located in Boston. It was an exhilarating experience being apart of the USCG for a day, and we hope to return to visit our friends again soon! Thank you USCG for keeping our coast safe; we truly appreciate all you do for our nation. We look forward to working alongside heroes such as yourself one day to keep our people safe.
